History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Gerald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
