History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Ethereal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Banker. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ethereal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She tends to her Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
