History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Jezebeth was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Alice took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
