History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Quarethon's homeland. Quarethon decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Damien was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
