His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nelkin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nelkin. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: She is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Junk Dealer born in the past three hundred years. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Junk Dealer responsibilities is difficult; and he feels threatened by others

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.
