History: Gifted from a young age, Melissa studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Melissa took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Shanairla wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Shanairla reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. Ovak is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Ovak was born with her father's beautiful face. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and regain custody of her son

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She tends to her Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business
