The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Nicholas is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Marastyr fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by her family
