History: Born to a Ruler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Jabbie and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Kite enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Balimaar reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
