History: Born in the west to a Guard, Zook learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Gillyd is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Being a Cartwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He became a Tanner soon after.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He keeps his long gray fur kept up in a rat tail. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
