History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. After a long history of fighting, Anbera and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Sammal was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
