History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alex's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has achieved small success as a Ruler.
