History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Kaladan was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out.
