History: Pikar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: Tordrid is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Carter. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the south to a Courier, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Therlin was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is greedy.
