History: Avelina hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Beast was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shipwright for the past few years.
