History: Gilbert was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Qualen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Qualen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Qualen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She now mingles about in high society.
