History: Born in the north to a Engraver, Prosperine learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Butcher born in the past three hundred years. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Maynild was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Maynild's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and doesn't want to be a mayor and was forced into it by her family
