Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Description: She wears a brown shirt with thin grey vertical stripes and tan pants. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly maces and quarterstaffs. She has dyed her greying orange fur a little too much giving a sharp orange color. Her eyes are likewise copper.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Her violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her blue boots flare out at the collars, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'2" when asserting herself. She has wavy blonde hair. She has hazel eyes and a blue hat with a violet feather.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a masseuse and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She receives visions of the future at random moments
History: Born in the south to a Butcher, Margery learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Margery was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Margery decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently the stress of being a Map Maker has made it difficult for him to sleep.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to be a miner again
