He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Baern was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Herbalist. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
