Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He carries with him a set of swords on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kairon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his right hand. He has moderate length golden hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Roland speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a longbow on her belt. She is portly but not overly obese. She keeps her long silver crest kept up in a rat tail. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Born in the west to a Mortician, Jheri learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Mortician kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She is wearing a long, grey cloak, marred by teas. She is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around her ears. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Barbena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.
History: Born to a Miner, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
