History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Salanop alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.
