When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Gardener kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
