History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Kristryd has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
