History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Kabbarg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a Cartwright soon after.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Skak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
