Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.

Description: He wears bulky tan painted plate armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'7" when asserting himself. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hadarai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Bella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
