History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has worked as a Map Maker like her mother before her.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and expand her business

Description: This man wears skinny pants and wears a tan and grey robe with the hood down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his left hand. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eiravel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eiravel. After months of barely getting by, Eiravel managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a Dyer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again; and balancing her hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult
