History: He comes from a rich western family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
