History: Vepar was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Euphemia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Euphemia. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
