History: Rathkran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Scribe. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vapula was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Barkeep, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his flail, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Banker, Garl learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Garl fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). In the meantime she has taken over work as a Tanner and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is an amazing painter.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job
