Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emerald is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with her Architect father left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Harbek alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
