History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ivellios alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
