Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: She was born in the north. Kite was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Interpreter. Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elama grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elama. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
