His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mardred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
