History: Jacoba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Jacoba was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jacoba's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Apothecary. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nyx was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Miller father left her crippled. She has never given up on her music dream.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Apothecary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Heskan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his religion dominates his actions
