History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Tree lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
