History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the east to a Miner, Carrie learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
