History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Mishann lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
