History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Quarion was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Quarion decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Euphemia grew up listening to her father's many stories. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a great chef.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Claira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is her passion.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Tagga learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tagga grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tagga. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
