History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Alain was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Alain's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
