History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
