History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Cask was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cask's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
