Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dagger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her fur, while still mostly lavender, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Windy speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Windy lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His hair is black and curly. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Purban was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He's in love; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
