History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Quarion was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Quarion's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She got into the Marshal business at a young age. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own.
