History: Emerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'11" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her black hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hlin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. She bought a sai and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. After a long history of fighting, Burgell and his spouse have recently divorced.
