She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Fighter school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mayor for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Mayor responsibilities is difficult.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kali was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Kali was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kali's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
