The war was a terrible time for her, and Robbie does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Robbie was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Mordai never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
