History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by his family

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has worked as a Bellfounder like her father before her.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
