History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Liftrasa speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Shepherd, but she got bored and became a Mayor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things
