History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears silk and lounges about seductively. Her red hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Healer born in the past three hundred years. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Silgre hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Silgre grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Silgre. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This late middle aged man is renowned for his bright black suits and hats and is in decent physical shape. His hair is cut close to his head. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Balam speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has money and likes to spend it
