Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dench does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dench was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is a great chef.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He sports a flattop hair cut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Scrag was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a glaive on his belt. His black hair is knotted and matted. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again.
