She found a children's book about a Gnome Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Ulla was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
